Yard Dog Industries is a consulting and general contracting firm built around traveling shipyard work, founded by a shipyard project manager whose background spans commercial and government yards, tug and barge construction and repair, and in-house yard management.
Our job is to bridge the gap between the people who design a project and the people who build it — project managers, naval architects, designers, vessel owners, and the production crews on the floor. We immerse ourselves in every phase of the work, manage the subcontractors, hold the schedule and the budget, and stay on the deckplates until it's done right.
